Hello I'm Naomi!
I started work at the Library recently after Todd's departure and am really enjoying getting to know the school, students, staff - and of course all the wonderful resources the Library has to offer...
As part of my role I will be looking after all the noticeboards to keep you all up to date with art prizes, competitions, and exhibitions - so if you have information to add please drop in and see me.
As well as working at NAS Library I also study part-time by distance education and will be completing my degree at the end of 2008. Earlier this year I did a really interesting subject through Charles Sturt University titled 'Art and Books'; so if you want to discuss the development and future of the book and the role art has had to play in the process I'd love to share some of what I've found out.
See you in the Library...

A quick note about phones

Answering your phone in the library can disturb other people. Staff and students use the study areas and computer room upstairs to work on research and they need peace to think effectively.

You're welcome to use your phone in the main area of the library (downstairs) where everything’s a bit noisier and it won’t disturb others.

But please don’t take calls upstairs or in the stairwell gallery area – the hard floors amplify your conversation to the whole building!

If you're going to be upstairs in the library, put your phone on silent or turn it off.

Don't make us shush you!

Dear NAS Students,

I just want to wish you all every success...Wednesday 1st August is/was my last day with the NAS Library. To those of you I know (and those I don’t) Bon Voyage...and remember - savour your passions, and stick to your goals. It’s been a great pleasure working with you all.
