Mike Parr: Brain Coral

New Book in the Library, Mike Parr: Brain Coral (exhibition catalogue)….see it on the new book display.

The catalogue documents the exhibition currently on show at the NAS Gallery. The catalogue includes a preface by Anita Taylor and an introduction by the curator Katie Dyer as well as an interview with Mike Parr.

“ …this exhibition examines the affinities between Mike Parr’s printmaking, drawing and the expanded context of his performances. Continuing in the Phaidon’s Vitamin series this new title looks at the work of the new wave of painters. Art Prize

Art & Australia/Credit Suisse Private Banking Contemporary Art Award
This prestigious award supports emerging professional artists through publishing an image of the winner's work on the back cover of Art & Australia magazine and inside, an article on the winner's practice.
One of the 2012 winners will have a work acquired for the Art & Australia Collection. Also from this year, each of the award recipients will be offered a complimentary full-page advertisement in Art & Australia.
